Recognize HIM? Police Release Surveillance Pics Of Suspect In Hunterdon County Bank Robbery

Police in Hunterdon County are seeking the public’s help identifying the man they say robbed a local bank Wednesday afternoon.

The man pictured above was caught on surveillance footage passing a note demanding money from a teller at TD Bank (350 Rt. 22 West in Whitehouse) shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, Readington Township Police said.

The man pictured above was caught on surveillance footage passing a note demanding money from a teller at TD Bank (350 Rt. 22 West in Whitehouse) shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, Readington Township Police said.

The man then fled toward Old Highway 28, police said.

The suspect has a dark complexion and a beard and was wearing blue jean shorts, a white t-shirt, a surgical mask and sunglasses during the robbery, police said.

“There is no reason to believe the suspect is still in the area or that the public is in danger,” police added.
